Education Programs

TUTORING/HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE

Weekly assistance is provided to help students understand the basics and foundation of the subject or subjects the Monday thru Thursday from  4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays.  Efforts are made to fit the student/parent schedules if possible.  We work with students age 4 and up in grades Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
Fees:  $30.00/hour ... payable weekly or monthly.


REALITY OF MONEY AND CREDIT

Reality simulation for students to actually manage a budget and learn how to manage money and credit. 

Pre-Registration is Required for students in grades 7-12.  Call 919-832-2709 to register.

THE ART OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

Teaching students in grades 3-12 how to handle themselves in any public speaking situation, especially in school with their various presentations.  We also provide opportunities for students to exercise their new skills.

COLLEGE BOUND WORKSHOPS
An annual one-day event to help students and parents start the process for entering college.  Presenters include college officials, financial aid consultants and college students.

FACE TO FACE:  CAREER FAIR
Annual opportunity for youth to learn and think outside the box when planning a career.  Students will meet representatives from a variety of careers and learn what it takes to prepare for those choices early.  Particularly for students in grades 6-8.

S.A.T. PREP WORKSHOPS

to prepare students to take the SAT and any standardized tests.  Workshops are held 4 times a year for 20 students in grades 7-12 at each session on a first come, first served basis.
